Can my child come if he/she is going into primary school in September?
Yes, we accept children from age 4.
What does my child need to bring with them?
A lovingly prepared Packed Lunch including no nuts.
A labelled water bottle.
Weather appropriate clothing and footwear.
What are your staff to child ratios?
We will follow the Ofsted recommended ration of 1:10. All members of staff are highly experienced with children and hold Enhanced DBS checks.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask for notifcation of any cancellations at least 2 weeks prior to the date in order to receive a full refund. Anything cancelled less than 2 weeks before, will not be granted a refund.
What are your opening hours?
We are open from 7:30am - 6:00pm.
What safety precautions are put in place?
The village hall is fully compliant with health and child safety regulations. As an additional safeguarding measure, during outdoor play, all children will be required to wear a High Visibility jacket (provided by ScapeSchool).
Do I need to provide snacks?
No, ScapeSchool provides snacks for your children throughout the day. We have two snack breaks, 10:30-11:00am and 4:30pm-5:00pm. Our morning snack is a variety of fruit and vegetables, the later snack is crackers with cream cheese or butter. All of our snacks meet the School Food Standards of Healthy Foods.
Do you have access to a telephone?
We do have access to a telephone, although our main focus is interacting with the children so if we do not answer, please leave a message and send us an email and then we can give you a call back.
Can you provide a typical day schedule?
SESSION 1 (7:30am-(9:00am): Breakfast Time / Free Play
SESSION 2 (9:00am-10:30am): Activity 1/ outdoor play
SESSION 3 (10:30am-11:00am): Snack Break
SESSION 4 (11:00am-12:30am): Activity 2/ outdoor play
SESSION 5 (12:30am-1:30pm): Lunch Break
SESSION 6 (1:30pm-2:30pm):Activity 3/ outdoor play
SESSION 7 (2:30pm-4:30pm): Free play
SESSION 8 (4:30pm-5:00pm): Snack time
SESSION 9 (5:00pm-6:00pm): Free Play / Pick Ups
Do I email you information about my child that I would like you to know?
We understand that every child is different. When signing your child/ren up on iPAL, there are multiple opportunities to inform us of any allergies or information you believe we should be made aware of.
